You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to damage it, copy its content without permission, submit false information, or use it for illegal or harmful purposes.
3. Project Scope
Each project is based on a defined scope.
The scope may include:
- content type
- raw footage length
- final video length
- number of deliverables
- platform requirements
- captions
- B-roll
- motion graphics
- thumbnails
- revision rounds
- turnaround time
- project files or editable handoff
- one-off or monthly workflow
Anything not clearly included in the agreed scope may be treated as additional work and may require extra pricing.
4. Pricing and Payments
Pricing depends on the project scope, editing complexity, deliverables, turnaround, and workflow requirements.
Prices shown on the website are starting points unless clearly stated otherwise. Final pricing may change depending on the actual project details.
Payment terms will be agreed before work begins.
Xero Film may require full payment, partial payment, or deposit before starting a project.
Work may be paused if payment is delayed or incomplete.
5. Revisions
Revision rounds depend on the package or agreed project scope.
A revision means a reasonable adjustment to the agreed edit based on the original brief.
Revisions do not include:
- changing the entire direction after editing has started
- adding new deliverables not included in the scope
- replacing large parts of the footage
- requesting unlimited changes
- adding services such as thumbnails, project files, heavy motion graphics, or extra platform versions unless agreed
Extra revision rounds may be billed separately.
6. Turnaround Time
Turnaround time depends on project complexity, raw footage length, number of deliverables, feedback speed, and current availability.
Any estimated delivery time starts after:
- project scope is confirmed
- required files are received
- payment or deposit is completed if required
- all necessary references or instructions are provided
Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing:
- accurate project details
- usable footage and files
- clear instructions
- platform requirements
- references if needed
- feedback within the agreed review period
- proper rights or licenses for supplied materials
Delays in providing files, feedback, payment, or approvals may delay delivery.
8. Client-Provided Materials
By submitting footage, audio, images, logos, scripts, brand assets, music, or other materials, you confirm that you have the right to use them.
Xero Film is not responsible for copyright, licensing, or platform claims caused by materials supplied by the client without proper permission.
9. Final Deliverables
Final deliverables will be provided according to the agreed scope.
Deliverables may include final video exports, short-form clips, captions, thumbnails, or other agreed files.
Unless agreed in writing, final deliverables do not automatically include:
- Premiere Pro project files
- After Effects project files
- Photoshop files
- raw timeline files
- source files
- editable templates
- third-party licensed assets
Project files and editable handoff may require separate pricing.
10. Portfolio Use
Xero Film may display completed work, sample edits, demo edits, screenshots, or breakdowns in its portfolio, website, social media, or marketing materials, unless confidentiality or white-label terms are agreed in writing.
For agency, white-label, or confidential projects, portfolio use will follow the agreed terms.
11. White-Label and Agency Work
For white-label work, Xero Film may provide editing support where the agency presents the final work to its client under the agency’s own brand.
White-label terms, confidentiality, portfolio usage, delivery process, revision limits, and communication rules should be agreed before work begins.
12. Cancellations and Refunds
Because video editing is a custom service, refunds are not guaranteed once work has started.
If a project is cancelled before work begins, any refund depends on the agreed payment terms.
If work has already started, Xero Film may charge for the time, planning, editing, review, or delivery work already completed.
Refunds are not usually provided for:
- completed edits
- approved deliverables
- delays caused by missing client files or feedback
- change of mind after work begins
- dissatisfaction caused by unclear or incomplete original instructions
13. No Guaranteed Results
Xero Film works to improve video clarity, pacing, structure, presentation, and delivery quality.
However, Xero Film does not guarantee specific business results, revenue, follower growth, views, watch time, retention, leads, sales, or platform performance.
Video performance depends on many factors outside editing, including audience, offer, content idea, distribution, thumbnail, title, posting consistency, platform algorithm, and market demand.
14. Website Content Accuracy
Xero Film aims to keep website information accurate and updated.
However, service details, pricing, packages, availability, and terms may change over time.
Xero Film may update, remove, or change website content without prior notice.
15. Third-Party Links and Tools
This website may include links to third-party websites or tools such as analytics platforms, forms, video embeds, payment tools, calendars, or file-sharing services.
Xero Film is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party websites or services.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Xero Film is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages related to website use, project delays, platform issues, copyright claims from client-supplied assets, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.
Xero Film’s total liability for any project is limited to the amount paid for that specific project, unless otherwise required by law.
17. Intellectual Property
Website content, brand assets, written copy, design elements, service descriptions, sample breakdowns, and original materials created by Xero Film remain the property of Xero Film unless agreed otherwise.
